Flower symbolism in jewelry

A type of brooch the decoration of which is in the form of a bouquet of naturalistic flowers, usually set with gemstones of several colours and with green-enamelled leaves and gold stems; some also have a ribbon bow set with gemstones.

They became popular during the Rococo period of the 18th century, and continued well into the 19th century, epsecially those pieces designed by Oscar Massin.
