Safety-pin fibula

A type of fibula made in the general form of a modern safety pin, with an acus, an arched bow, and a catch-plate. Such fibulae were made in many variations, from Scythian examples and Etruscan examples to some made in England during the Celtic Iron Age and the Roman era.
