Decorative vintage gold Fifties parure brooch and earrings rubies and diamonds
Here we have what we call in our trade, a parure. A parure is a matching set of jewellery designed to be worn together. This 18K bi-colour gold Fifties parure from around 1950 consists of a brooch and a pair of earrings.
The earrings of this parure depict a warm yellow gold flower with five sprightly petals fondling seven ruby-topped stamina around their brilliant cut diamond heart.
Regarding the brooch, three of such flowers are tied together with a ribbon of 15 rubies fancy cut according to the whims of their string setting. With four white openwork leaves glimpsing from behind in contrast with the sunny glow of the yellow
flowers, this adorable floral arrangement is right there for the grasp to make your heart bloom.
