VICTORIAN FRENCH 18K POCKET WATCH
FRENCH VICTORIAN 18K POCKET WATCH.
This rewindable pocket watch is made in around 1870. The dial, made of enamel, has large black
roman numerals, and rrabic numbers and black hands. It has an auxiliary dial for the seconds.
If you look at four, you'll find surprisingly 'IIII' instead of 'IV'. This might be because half of the numbers
are upside down, since they follow the edge of the clock face round. The 'IV' and 'VI' could get mixed
up when they're the right way up.
