This vintage Edwardian ring, believed to be of Belgian origin, is a quintessential example of the elegance and refinement of the early 20th century. Crafted around 1910, it features a harmonious blend of two tones of precious metals - 18K yellow gold complemented by white gold or platinum. The ring is adorned with three old brilliant cut diamonds, radiating subtle sophistication, and further embellished with six delicate rose cut diamonds, adding a touch of graceful sparkle. Completing its timeless design are two seed pearls, symbolising purity and elegance. The fine lines and lacey aspect of the ring are characteristic of Edwardian craftsmanship, reflecting the era's preference for intricate and airy designs. This piece is not just a ring; it's a wearable piece of history, echoing the societal shifts and fashionable elite of King Edward VII's reign.

Edwardian - The Edwardian era or Edwardian period in the United Kingdom is the period covering the reign of King Edward VII, 1901 to 1910. The death of Queen Victoria in January 1901 and the succession of her son, Edward, marked the start of a new
century and the end of the Victorian era. While Victoria had shunned society, Edward was the leader of a fashionable elite which set a style influenced by the art and fashions of continental Europe—perhaps because of the King's fondness for travel. The
era was marked by significant shifts in politics as sections of society which had been largely excluded from wielding power in the past, such as common labourers and women, became increasingly politicised.
