Why the Academy exists

At Adin, we look for the jewels that carry stories worth understanding. The Adin Academy was founded to share this fascination and to explore how beauty, meaning and craftsmanship have shaped jewellery throughout history, exploring and documenting genuine pieces from our base in Antwerp, Belgium.

What drives us

What moves us is not profit but passion, the joy of discovery and the wish to keep knowledge alive for those who will come after us. It would be a quiet loss if the deeper meanings that jewels sometimes hold were no longer recognised or understood by future generations. In that spirit we live by our credo, Custodes historiae pro posteris (Guardians of history forfuture generations).

How to continue
