For the connoisseurs: a jewel for a noble lady, made by Wolfers

This jewel comes in a box where, behind its specially made inlay, we found a little screwdriver and an extra piece to attach to the bottom part of the necklace. This part can be unscrewed from the top part to wear it as a single drop-shaped pendant.

Made by Bourdon & Wolfers, who were suppliers to the court, this is evidenced by the little crown above their name in the box. The company Wolfers was the leading jewellery company in Belgium, cooperating with other high-standard jewellers in other Belgian cities.

On the outside of the box, we see the monogram S.C. with a crown. At the moment, we do not yet know which lady this beautiful jewel belonged to, but we're in the midst of our quest to find this out.
