The Crayfish

"The Crayfish" is a ribald humorous folk song of the English oral tradition. It dates back to the seventeenth century. The moral of the story is that one should look in the chamber pot before using it. To protect the tender disposition of some of our readers from the somewhat obscene nature of the rhyme, we have decided to share only the first (innocent) strophe.
