Pampilles, en (French). A style of decoration of jewelry in the form of a cascade of several gemstones (or ornaments of paste), descending in diminishing size, and terminating with a thin, tapering,pointed 'icicle-shaped' ornament. It is found on brooches and earrings of the 19th century, and also on some pieces of cut steel jewelry.
