Long Chain

A type of chain that is very long (usually more than 1 mtr) and that, worn by a woman, was tucked into the girdle or attached to her bodice to form two festoons over her bosom.Such chains were made with many styles of links. They were sometimes worn by a man around his neck and with an attached watch placed in a waistcoat pocket.
