Examples were made of extremely thin wire in the form of brooches, necklaces, and handbags, and also pendants in the form of a Gothic cross,attributed possibly to Silesia in the 18th century. Some such pieces were decorated with polished steel paillettes (sequins).Related articles of Berlin Iron jewelry were made in the early 19th century of fine plaited iron wire.
