Circa 1970 18K White Gold Diamond Solitaire Ring
A petite white-gold solitaire, very much of the Seventies in its clean lines and uncomplicated setting. Made around 1970 and kept unworn as new old stock, it is an honest vintage ring: a small, bright piece of its own time, now ready to be worn for the first time.
Jewellery type: Finger ring.
Condition: Extremely good condition. New old stock: a genuinely vintage
ring that has remained unworn since the 1970s.
Country of origin: unknown.
Style: Seventies, with a petite, clean-lined solitaire design
characteristic of the period.

Material: 18K white gold, touchstone tested.
Diamond: One round brilliant-cut natural diamond, approximately 0.25 ct,
H colour and I clarity. We screened the diamond in this ring using the EXA Natural
Diamond Detector developed by Magilabs; the test returned a natural-diamond result.
Total diamonds: One diamond, approximately 0.25 ct.
Traditional gemstone associations: Diamonds are traditionally associated
with April and with enduring love and strength.
Hallmarks: Stamped “750”, indicating 18-carat gold. Also stamped inside
the shank “0 25 W P1”, possibly denoting the diamond’s stated weight and quality.
Dimensions: Width across the ring head 5.3 mm (0.21 in)
