These 1950s Art Deco style ear studs centre on two brilliant-cut diamonds, framed by tightly set single-cut diamonds with a combined weight of approximately 1.00 ct. Their compact circular form and crisp geometry give them a poised, light-catching character, while their restrained proportions make them easy to wear. A quietly elegant pair with enduring sparkle.

Style
Art Deco style, made in the 1950s - This jewel shows a clear Art Deco stylistic influence but was probably made in the 1950s.
It should therefore be described as Art Deco style rather than as a true Art Deco period jewel.
Although the Art Deco period had ended about twenty years earlier, its geometric forms remained influential in 1950s jewellery, sometimes alongside Retro or mid-century elements. Jewels made in platinum and with strongly geometric designs can therefore
be difficult to distinguish from period Art Deco pieces at first sight.
