Not every goldsmith or silversmith will start working on antique jewelry and silverware. This can easily be explained because repairing antiques is a speciality on its own. We have a very sofisticated workshop with specialists in the field of antique restoring. For that reason, your antique jewelry and silverware is in good hands with us.
Our atelier, while possessing the best that modern technology has to offer, in fact is unique for using wherever possible, only authentic tools and processes. Combine that with our teams of highly skilled antique-goldsmiths and diamond-setters and it is clear that we work hard to maintain our reputation as the experts in the field.
All repairs are carried out in the roomy workshop floor. Should a piece have a stone missing a replacement stone can be found for it from our safes containing antique cut stones of all shapes and sizes. An authentic roller, trestle presses, wire stretchers and various other antique machines and tools that have been restored and brought back to into active service at Adin make sure that any repairs we make are seamless and smooth and of a quality that would have made the original makers proud.
Before returning the jewel to the customer a final inspection takes place. The expert checking will have to be convinced that the piece is in a condition Adin worthy. In other words, that it proves our dedication to quality preservation of our historic legacy: Custodies Historiζ Natituribus.
Before starting the repair we first give you an indication of the costs. In most cases we directly give you this indication but there are cases that we first have to make a study of the particular piece. The eventual costs of such study will be communicated to you before we start working.
Adin does not only repair for the public, we also work in close cooperation with other jewelers, collectors and museums. Irrespectively your situation, when you have jewelry, diamonds, precious stones, precious metals and/or massive silverware.....Adin is your address for repairs!
Unprofessional repairs by incompetent goldsmiths, silversmiths or jewelers devaluate your antique's value. It is even possible that an unprofessional repair makes the article beyond serious repair. We therefor strongly advice you to have your antiques repaired by a true Adin expert and thus avoid unpleasant surprises.
Working with Adin is not only "convenient"; our comprehensive service contains discretion, trust, professionalism, and knowledge of the international markets. But perhaps as important, we offer you a pleasant experience. When you would like to discuss a certain article, legacy, estate or situation, or if you would like to know more about our way of working, you can contact us without any obligation on your part.
